Recently a member of the Ananda community passed away. Garrett Arjuna lived a life of service to God and man. Arjuna, and his wife and daughter, faced his health challenges with grace and acceptance, inspiring all who know them. The family welcomed everyone, shared the realities of Arjuna's condition, and continuously expressed their gratitude throughout. As his transition time approached, Arjuna lost the use of his legs and arms, and his ability to convey much through speech. Some friends were visiting Arjuna near the end of his life. The visitors shared how much they appreciated Arjuna's openness to everyone through this very difficult time. Arjuna responded: “Love is all I have.” Through the process we call dying, Arjuna felt his personal connection to God. Clearly he was experiencing - not just believing intellectually - that he was fulfilling his karma. And he was at peace. We all can do it. It is difficult. But dedicating our lives to loving and serving God can help us rise above even the most painful and difficult challenges life throws at us. Take hope. You can do it, too.

The idea of an eternal heaven is true, though most people's ideas of heaven are very limited.
