Pranaba Hansen

Minister, Hatha and Raja Yoga Teacher, Director of Living Discipleship

Pranaba has been sharing the teachings of Yogananda and Kriyananda through classes and seminars for over 30 years. He has been Director of the Yoga Teacher Training program and Manager of The Expanding Light as well as Ananda's Retreat in Assisi, Italy. He and his wife, Parvati, helped establish and have served in Ananda centers in Seattle, Portland, Palo Alto, and Dallas.

Pranaba is the Director of Living Discipleship, Ananda's membership training program and is also working with Ananda's outreach ministry. An excellent teacher, he is known for his unfailing kindness and gentle approach. He exemplifies Yogananda's definition of a yogi: A yogi is even-minded and cheerful at all times.
