Discover realistic ways to take the mystery out of the mystical and ease the divide between ‘spiritual life’ and ‘real life.’ You will use yoga postures, breathing exercises, and meditation to develop a stronger ‘base line’ of inner peace and joy to support your inner life and your outward service.

You will learn to:    

  • See work, family, and personal relationships from the perspective of spiritual practice
  • Recognize key opportunities for spiritual growth in everyday experiences
  • Use spiritual applications for day-to-day activities
  • Assess your spiritual goals and how to bring them to fruition
  • Create a simple, balanced yoga routine for your own daily practice and understand the keys to a more spiritual approach to yoga
  • Use breathing exercises for greater peace and mental focus

You will learn how to use your spiritual practices to face the often challenging and frenetic pace of daily life and the demands of social and personal obligations. We will look at the nature of the self and reality, definitions of ‘success,’ and ways to approach life with wonder, gratitude, and concern for others.      

The workshop will be led by Uddhava Ramsden, an Ananda minister and one of Ananda’s most engaging and pragmatic instructors, and Dayavati Barsic, who shines with her love for her students and for the practice of yoga.

Deepen Your Spiritual Life with Yoga Practices starts the afternoon of the first date listed and ends with lunch on the last date listed. Check-in is anytime between 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. at our Front Desk. Your room will be available by 3:00 p.m. Dinner is at 6:30. The first gathering of your group is after dinner.

You can add extra personal retreat days before and/or after your program. Check availability and costs for the days and accommodations that you require.

Deepen Your Spiritual Life with Yoga Practices starts the afternoon of the first date listed. It’s ideal to arrive before 4 pm, if you are able to. That way, you can join in the afternoon session of yoga and meditation, which begins at 4:45 pm. Dinner is at 6:30. The first real gathering of your group is at 7:30 pm. If you need to arrive here after 5 pm, that’s fine, but it helps us if you let us know at 800-346-5350. We can also put aside a dinner for you if you need to arrive after 7 pm.
