Ananda invites Kriyabans to attend our Kriya Yoga Vow Ceremonies
at The Expanding Light Retreat

The Kriya Yoga Vows Ceremonies held at Ananda Village at The Expanding Light Retreat are for individuals who are already initiated Kriyabans practicing Kriya Yoga or for who have completed the preparation for their first Kriya initiation. This is a spiritually transforming opportunity for Kriyabans who would like to refresh their vows, deepen their understanding of the techniques, and support others taking first-time initiations. You can submit your inquiry to attend and we will get back to you soon.

Kriya Yoga Initiation Ceremony

Kriya Yoga is a comprehensive spiritual path that includes the technique of Kriya Yoga, which Paramhansa Yogananda brought to the West. Learn more about the Path of Kriya Yoga.

Our Initiation ceremonies are offered around the world by Ananda Kriyacharyas or Kriya Yoga teachers who are authorized by Swami Kriyananda, who himself was authorized by Paramhansa Yogananda, to pass on the Kriya technique. Many of our teachers have been initiating people into Kriya Yoga for more than 20 years, and teaching meditation for over 40 years.

NOTE: To attend this program, you must have already completed steps one to four on the Path of Kriya Yoga and received approval from Ananda Kriya Sangha. The steps are: Lessons in Meditation, Art and Science of Raja Yoga, Course on Discipleship, and Preparation for Kriya Yoga. The steps can be done either at an Ananda Center, Online Classes, or Home Book-study —or some combination of those.  E-mail Ananda Kriya Sangha for more information.
