This weekend is designed specifically to help you release tension and be comfortable in your posture and movement during the day. Activities like sitting, standing, and walking without balanced posture can cause back pain or muscle strain that make it difficult to relax and feel energized.

This weekend targets the relaxation and balance of the neck, shoulders, and back. You will enjoy:

  • A variety of stretching and strengthening exercises to relieve tension
  • Using various yoga poses to target and release areas of tension in the back and entire body
  • Learning how to bring more comfort in all activities that require sitting
  • Restorative yoga poses that help you relax for better sleep at night
  • Guided meditation and visualization

And you can enjoy the fabulous Expanding Light vegetarian meals, massage (your choice, at extra expense), and two daily guided sessions of spiritual practices (Energization Exercises, yoga postures, and meditation). You will leave with ideas to use for your personal practice. This week can truly change how relaxed and energized you feel in your body!

You will gain important self-assessment and therapeutic techniques, and you’ll work with instructor Satyana Willard to go deeper in how to apply what you've learned in your daily practice.

You will leave with a yoga routine designed for your personalized practice of tension release and physical rejuvenation.

Practical Steps for Painfree Living starts the afternoon of the first date listed and ends with lunch on the last date listed. Check-in is anytime between 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. at our Front Desk. Your room will be available by 3:00 p.m. Dinner is at 6:30. The first gathering of your group is after dinner.

You can add extra personal retreat days before and/or after your program. Check availability and costs for the days and accommodations that you require.

Practical Steps for Painfree Living starts the afternoon of the first date listed. It’s ideal to arrive before 4 pm, if you are able to. That way, you can join in the afternoon session of yoga and meditation, which begins at 4:45 pm. Dinner is at 6:30. The first real gathering of your group is at 7:30 pm. If you need to arrive here after 5 pm, that’s fine, but it helps us if you let us know at 800-346-5350. We can also put aside a dinner for you if you need to arrive after 7 pm.
