Coconut Rice with Sesame Recipe
Magnesium, Calcium, Satisfying!

Cooking time: 30 minutes

 

Serves: 4



Ingredients:

    1 cup white basmati rice (rinsed)
    4 tablespoons ghee
    2 cups water
    1 teaspoon celtic salt
    1/4 cup sesame seeds
    1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut

Instructions:

Place in a rice cooker:
1 cup rinsed white basmati rice, 2 tablespoons melted ghee. Mix well. Add 2 1/2 cups water and 1 teaspoon celtic salt.

Cover, turn rice cooker ON, and let rice cook. When rice is cooked, remove cover and fluff.

Place 2 tablespoons ghee in a skillet over low heat. Add 1/4 cup sesame seeds and 1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut. Sauté, stirring continuously until darkened and fragrant.

Pour over cooked rice and toss to mix.
