Your weekend will include in-depth instruction in one of yoga’s most useful techniques of meditation.

During this retreat you will learn how to:

  • Recognize the ploys of the subconscious mind: unwilling to change, stuck in emotions like resentment, fear, anger, and more
  • Use your conscious, thinking mind to your best advantage
  • Learn to access the superconscious mind to help you solve problems, make decisions, and heal challenging situations with others

3 Tips for Living from the Inside Out

1. Take a few minutes of personal quiet time, noticing the flow of breath inside the nose, letting the world carry on without you. Make this a daily habit.
2. Notice negative thoughts and choose to release them. Discover new ways to approach a situation.
3. Place your index finger at the point between the eyebrows and concentrate (with relaxation) at that point. How do you feel?

  • Clarity in understanding your own way of thinking and behaving, and how you can express your higher Self.
  • Creative experiences of your own levels of consciousness, how they feel, and how to work with them
  • Greater wisdom about where you are now in your life and how to take your next steps forward toward higher awareness
  • Gentle breathing techniques, guided meditation, and visualizations to help you break old patterns and move forward
  • Guidance in how to use the ancient teachings of India — Patanjali’s Eightfold Path — to help you move forward in your life
Diksha McCord

This course will be led by Diksha McCord, who has shared these principles around the United States, and in Europe and India. She will be helped by Devaki Soupios, an Ananda member with a great background in creative expression.
