Vegetarian Burger Recipe - Millet Patties

Rice with Pasta Recipe
A tasty grain partnership with an appealing combination of colors; serve it with Pesto Vinaigrette.

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10-15 minutes


Serves: 3 – 4
Spring, Summer

In a pot, melt:
    3 tablespoons ghee or butter

    1/2 cup spinach pasta (or sesame pasta) broken into pieces
    approximately 1/2" long

Stir and coat pasta with butter for 3–5 minutes. Add:
    1 cup white basmati rice (rinsed 3 times)

Stir and coat rice for 2 minutes. Add:
    3 cups water
    1/2 teaspoon salt

Cook until all water is absorbed and rice is done (approximately 10–15 minutes).
