“Willpower can often seem a bit grim in its determination. However, willingness involves an inner attitude and energy of joyful enthusiasm which serve to magnetically draw to us success in achieving what we've set our willpower to do.

The next time you notice yourself thinking, "OK, I guess I can do this or that" or "OK, if I have to," stop and re-frame that thought to "Yes! I'm willing to give it a try!" If you don't immediately sense an increase of uplifting energy just by changing your attitude, then visualize a fountain of energy flowing upward in your spine, giving you plenty of energy and enthusiasm to do whatever is before you. Stay with this visualization and continue to affirm, "Yes! I can do this!" with as much enthusiasm as possible. Then go forth with a smile and see how much fun you can have in doing the task.”
