Death, so feared by most people, can be understood, as it is in the East, in a deeply inspiring way. Those of us at Ananda, who have shared the dying process with a number of our fellow devotees, have seen them experience death as a time of deep inspiration and, yes, great joy!

Saturday evening will be a Halloween celebration, a "Come as You Were" party with the Ananda community. You'll have the option to rent a costume from Ananda's extraordinary costume shop -- or bring your own.

This workshop will be based on Yogananda’s teachings, as shared in the book,
 Karma and Reincarnation. Included in the book are such subjects as:

• Why do we see a world of suffering and inequality?
• How should we handle the challenges in our lives?
• What happens at death, and after death? Is there a heaven?
• What is the origin and purpose of reincarnation?

As Yogananda explains the operation of karma, death, and reincarnation, he also shares the deeper purpose of existence for every soul. Understanding these truths can bring clarity, confidence, and inspiration into your life.
