Have you ever wanted to do a cleansing diet, but have not been able to work it into your life?
Yogananda’s popular 7-Day Cleansing Diet, which he said was ideal for ridding the system of poisons, is now a cleansing retreat. With it, you can experience rejuvenation of body, mind, and soul.
Jyotish and Devi Novak, spiritual directors of Ananda (home of The Expanding Light in California), have practiced this cleansing diet for many years.

“The overall experience was very positive, I’ve lost about 15 lbs. total since the program in September [over a month ago]. … I no longer drink caffeine, eat sugar or chocolate, nor do I have a great desire to. Mangala has an impressive background in yoga training and teaching, training and practice in Ayurveda, the ancient Indian method of healing, and in-depth medical training and practice. In addition to being a Nurse Practitioner and Nursing lecturer, she is a certified Ayurvedic practitioner and massage therapist. She is also an Ananda minister and an extraordinary teacher, who listens sensitively and shares compassion and wisdom.

7-day Cleansing Diet Retreat starts the afternoon of the first date listed. It’s ideal to arrive before 4 pm, if you are able to. That way, you can join in the afternoon session of yoga and meditation, which begins at 4:45 pm. Dinner is at 6:30. The first real gathering of your group is at 7:30 pm. If you need to arrive here after 5 pm, that’s fine, but it helps us if you let us know at 800-346-5350. We can also put aside a dinner for you if you need to arrive after 7 pm.
