Yoga Resume (January 2006)

Does anyone have any examples of a Yoga Resume?  I am looking for an outline or layout that has been successful for you. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated. Blessings.

Lisa,

I can send you (by snail mail) a resume I used briefly in the beginning.  It was done with my Print Shop program.  Also, Word, has a "Resume Wizard" that leads you through the entire process.

My yoga resume included the following "headings" in this order:

My name, Certified Ananda Yoga Teacher
RYT (200) Yoga Alliance
Address, Phone #, email address
A one sentence description of Ananda Yoga
Education
Date of AYTT
Date(s) & names of other yoga related courses
Contact name & number of instructor(s)
* certificates available upon request
Professional Membership
Ananda Yoga Teacher Assoc.
Yoga Allaince
Yoga Assoc of BC
Experience
Listed the various venues I have taught at with a contact name & phone #
Class structure
Stretching, Energization exercises, hatha yoga postures, breathing, relaxation & meditation

I purchased stationery that had a soft background of lotuses. Created the resume such that my business card could be attached without obscuring the information
