The essence of yoga is spiritual awakening. Though many today see yoga postures simply as great physical exercise, yoga truly can be a doorway for self-transformation.
During this retreat:
- Come with the intention to tap the true power of yoga postures
- You’ll uplift your state of mind and experience release of physical tension
- Breathing exercises will help energize your body and clarify your mind
- Explore the nature of each of your chakras and its role in your spiritual awakening
- Take with you practices to enrich your at-home yoga practice
This course will be led by Jitendra, a gifted yoga instructor with a warm and engaging manner. A certified Ananda Yoga and Meditation Teacher, Jitendra’s depth of experience makes him a very popular instructor. You’ll explore Ananda Yoga, which is based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda.
Yoga is an art as well as a science. It is a science, because it offers practical methods for controlling body and mind, thereby making deep meditation possible. And it is an art, for unless it is practiced intuitively and sensitively it will yield only superficial results.
