Find Your Soul Purpose Retreat will include an overview of the soul journey and why we are here on this planet and what is the true goal of life, based on the teachings of the yoga master Paramhansa Yogananda. We’ll practice meditation and have time for personal introspection and reflection on your life. After the personal introspection we’ll take time to create how each individual envision their future. Discussion and sharing will follow.
We’ll have walking meditation in nature, and an evening kirtan (group chanting).
“When the soul is so identified with the body and the senses, it forgets its true nature. Only through the practice of meditation can we transfer our attention from the sensations of the body to the infinite nature of our true Self.” – Paramhansa Yogananda
“You have been in a state of hallucination thinking that you are a mortal, struggling and suffering. Through meditation you come in contact with your Real Self and forget what you thought you were."
– Paramhansa Yogananda
