Yoga can strengthen the muscles you need for improved posture, as well as endurance and balance. Barbara Bingham, physical therapist and Ananda Yoga® instructor, will help you become more aware of your spine physically and energetically.

  • Learn which movements or asanas should be avoided if you have skeletal weakness;
  • Learn the basics of bone health;
  • Practice proper body mechanics for daily living;
  • Learn which postures are especially beneficial for you.

This class is beneficial for anyone, and for people with osteopenia or osteoporosis but without severe postural change or history of fracture.
