Regular practice of yoga and meditation are proven to benefit those at risk of heart disease. Enjoy practical classes drawn from the vast reservoir of traditional yoga teachings, offered by our staff of certified cardiac yoga teachers, led by Jyoti Spearin. These classes include:
- Yoga Postures – With individual modifications as needed
- Meditation – What it is and how to do it
- Energization Exercises –Experience simple, dynamic exercises that will increase your overall energy level and give you the ability to direct healing energy into the body at will.
- Stress Reduction Techniques – Simple, practical and proven tools
- Daily Affirmation Walk – A guided brisk, silent walk using your personal affirmation
- Restorative Yoga – Relax and release tension and anxiety while you rest in modified poses, supported on pillows and blankets
- Habit Changing Workshop – Identify changes needed and learn effective strategies
- Healthy Vegetarian Cooking Class – Have fun and practice the “basics”
- Developing a Healthy Vegetarian Meal Plan – Learn to make skillful and tasty choices
- Daily Guided Deep Relaxation – Experience and learn the technique of conscious deep relaxation
