Celebrate Valentine’s Day by renewing the spiritual bond in your marriage and exploring your divine purpose for being together. This weekend is not so much to gain new information, but more, it is a time to refocus your relationship on what matters most in your lives. Take the time to revitalize your marriage with new insights, and enliven the life you share together.

Through joyful discovery and guided activities, you will:

Learn how to sustain your divine friendship.

One of the highlights of the retreat is a marriage renewal ceremony with the Ananda wedding vows, followed by a candlelight dinner. For married couples only.

This weekend is led by J.T. and Gitabai Heater, who have been married since 1998, and who each began their spiritual quest many years before they met.

Gitabai Heater worked as a marriage and family therapist for thirteen years before moving to Ananda Village. She enjoys working with small groups toward a goal of greater awareness. Currently she devotes her time to writing and promoting her publishing business. J.T. Heater is an architect talented in both religious and secular designs. He has designed homes and commercial projects in Northern California, as well as temples and community facilities for Ananda communities worldwide.

Both aspirational and practical in their approach to life, J.T. and Gitabai are interested in helping other couples deepen the spiritual and personal bonds that make marriage deeply fulfilling.
