Suzanne is a Hatha and Raja Yoga teacher at the Expanding Light, and a Registered Nurse. A multi-talented individual, Suzanne served in a number of positions since coming to Ananda just a few years ago. As a result of her diverse skills and exceptional way with people, she was recently named the Director of Human Resources for Ananda. Suzanne moved to Ananda Village in 2002 after falling in love with the community on her many visits to the Expanding Light as a guest. Prior to moving to the Village, Suzanne lead an Ananda Meditation group in Santa Barbara, CA.

A registered nurse, with 10 years of experience, Suzanne specializes in Intensive and Coronary Care, as well as general and trauma recovery. Suzanne gave up a full time nursing position in 2005 to be able to dedicate herself full time to serving at Ananda. She brings her medical knowledge to both her yoga and meditation teaching. She leads a number of the daily yoga classes, known as sadhana, as well as teaches How to Meditate classes to Personal Retreat guests and to students of the weekend meditation programs. Suzanne also teaches a number of the Anatomy and Physiology classes in the Yoga Teacher's Training Program. Suzanne is a vibrant, joyful individual bursting with energy. She makes everyone she meets feel welcome and at home here at the Expanding Light.
