Pranavati Leventon has lived at Ananda for 15 years, and raised her daughters here. She started exploring the Sierra Nevada mountains with her family as a young child, and feels a deep connection with them. She is a founding member of the Ananda women’s backpacking group, “Women Who Run with the Chipmunks”, and has years of experience backpacking in the Sierra wilderness.

She has studied with Joseph Cornell, author of Sharing Nature with Children.
