J.T. and Gitabai Heater

Guest Teachers

Gitabai Heater worked as a marriage and family therapist for thirteen years before moving to Ananda Village. She enjoys working with small groups toward a goal of greater awareness. Currently she devotes her time to writing and promoting her publishing business. J.T. Heater is an architect talented in both religious and secular designs. He has designed homes and commercial projects in Northern California, as well as temples and community facilities for Ananda communities worldwide.

Together, J.T. and Gitabai have written books on pilgrimage to Italy and France, and are planning one on the sacred sights of Paramhansa Yogananda in India. They have combined their spiritual interests and their love of travel to create books to help others enjoy more spiritually enriching travel experiences. They also share a love of music and serve together in Ananda’s music ministry.
