Devaki Soupios
Devaki is a long-time member of Ananda, who has served here as a minister, teacher, and director for many years. She graduated from Indiana State University, and has directed and acted in many productions in the Ananda communities. Devaki has worked extensively with the Ananda Living Wisdom Schools and the Ananda College, and has written and directed major events in the community. Most notably, she directed and performed in Swami Kriyananda’s The Peace Treaty and recently directed the first Christmas Pageant, and The Jewel in the Lotus with an all- Indian cast, in the Pune Ananda Community. She is a skilled teacher who has trained many novices to perform at high levels. Devaki has also been the Stage Manager and Director for presentations and public talks given by Swami Kriyananda, in LA, San Francisco, and the Pacific Northwest. She is known for her creativity, dramatic talents, sense of humor, and love of theater. She has committed her life to using theater and the Arts as vehicles to express higher consciousness and help elevate the consciousness of others.
