The spine is the channel through which the body's energy flows to the brain. If that flow becomes weakened, your power to meet life's challenges will decrease. Truthfulness demands a straightforward attitude, firmness, integrity, and clear vision. All these virtues depend on a clear upward flow of energy in the spine.
—Swami Kriyananda
During this 2-day program, you will learn to release tension in the neck, shoulders and back by experiencing your uplifted, centered and balanced posture.
When the natural curve of the spine is restored through guided posture and gentle movement, tension is released and the breath and energy flows unconstrained. Yoga Therapy is a very effective healing tool that uses posture, energy flows, breath and restorative poses to bring the body into a deeply balanced, relaxed state of being.
You will gain important self-assessment and therapeutic techniques, and you’ll work with program leader Maitri Jones to go deeper in how to apply what you've learned in your daily practice.
You will leave with a yoga routine designed to help you take your next step forward toward increased inner balance and well-being.
Class size is limited, so please register early.
