Groundbreaking for Swami Kriyananda's Moksha Mandir
Not scheduled at this time.
The Ananda spiritual family will be flying in from around the world for this event, and we hope you, too, will join us for this historic moment. As a community, we will dedicate the final resting place for Swami Kriyananda's body—a soon-to-be built temple and sacred shrine for all to visit.
"Moksha" means "liberation," the goal of Master's disciples. Yogananda promised that Swami Kriyananda would find freedom in this lifetime. This exalted state is not easily attained, and Swamiji's freedom has been felt by those of us who have tuned in to him through the years—even by many who had never met him.
The weekend will include a sacred ceremony at the site, with the colony leaders—from India (Dhyana and Jaya), from Italy (Kirtani and Anand), from Seattle (Hriman and Padma), from Portland (Daiva and Gangamata), from Sacramento (Dharmadas and Nirmala), from Palo Alto (David and Asha), from Los Angeles (Narayan and Dharmadevi)—each offering some part of the ceremony.
The schedule for the weekend will include:
Friday: 7:30 pm Orientation
Saturday: 10 am Special Celebration at Crystal Hermitage with representatives from Ananda around the world.
4 pm Concert by the Ananda World Brotherhood Choir: Swamiji's Musical Legacy
7 pm Panel of Speakers: "Swamiji Through the Decades" (Dhyana, Kirtani, Padma, Asha, Dharmadas)
Sunday: Purification and Sunday Service with Jyotish and Devi
Times like these provide blessings and memories for a lifetime. Please join us!
