Wisdom of Yogananda Series: How to Know God

Not scheduled at this time.

with Nayaswami Sahaja

In a corner of my heart I have a mystic throne. The candles of my joys are dimly lighted in the hope of Thy coming. I will broadcast my soul-call into the ether and Thou wilt respond through the receiver of my silence.

—Paramhansa Yogananda, 1942

God manifests in 8 ways, according to the ancient teachings of India:

  • Peace
  • Calmness
  • Love
  • Joy
  • Light
  • Sound
  • Wisdom
  • Power

We can experience each of these qualities within ourselves—each helps us feel our very real connection with God. Some people will find themselves more naturally attuned to one aspect or another, or perhaps to a blend of aspects.

During this retreat, you will use guided experiences, including visualizations, gongs, and guided nature exercises, to touch a deep place within ourselves where we can know the reality of these qualities within ourselves.

In addition, you'll learn a highly effective technique of meditation which Paramhansa Yogananda called "one of India's greatest gifts to the world."

This will be a deeply inspiring and recharging weekend, one that can transform your relationship with God and with yourself in positive and important ways.

Try this affirmation

I hold my thoughts up to the calmness within; in calmness I receive inspiration from my higher Self.
