Yoga Sutras Retreat Weekend

Not scheduled at this time.

with Parvati Hansen

The thrill of Indian Yoga philosophy is that it gives us the most powerful and helpful tools we can use to make our lives work—spiritually as well as materially.

The Yoga Sutras were written by one of the great Yoga masters who lived before Christ was born, Patanjali. Patanjali describes principles at the heart of spiritual development for every human being, no matter your religious beliefs or philosophical ideas. Why? Because we all have the same human nervous system, and it’s through this nervous system that spiritual development happens.

This weekend will include an introduction to a few of the core Sutras (sutras are concise and powerful statements of truth). And, you’ll be introduced to Patanjali’s well known Eightfold Path of Yoga, or Ashtanga Yoga.

This weekend will bring you:

• Tremendous satisfaction in discovering a philosophy of life that is practical, nonsectarian, and compassionate

• A guideline for making decisions in your life

• An aid to personal introspection and growth

The Yoga Sutras give you a roadmap to guide you through life, whether you want to improve your meditation or how you relate to others—you can find it all in the Sutras.

Join Parvati Hansen, who has dedicated her life to living these very principles. She can be an invaluable guide on your inner exploration.
