If you love to garden, you can enjoy a glorious Easter weekend at Ananda working in The Expanding Light gardens. There are jobs for all skills and interests.
There will be an orientation led by Lisa Powers on Thursday night. Friday and Saturday daytimes will be devoted to gardening. Friday evening will feature an Ananda choir performance of parts of the Oratorio, written by Swami Kriyananda—a moving and inspiring musical composition about the life of Christ. Saturday evening you will probably share an informal evening in an Ananda community member’s home.
Sunday is Ananda’s special Easter Service led by Nayaswamis Jyotish and Devi at The Expanding Light. After the Service is a community brunch and picnic, with the Easter Bunny leading the children in an egg hunt, and the adults hunting for “eggs” with inspirational messages on them.
