When walking, inhale and exhale deeply and rhythmically.
Breathe in as you take 4 steps; hold counting 4 steps;
exhale for 4 steps. You may need to shorten your count to 2 or 3 steps, until you get used to the exercise.
Breathe consciously.
Breathe deeply, from the diaphragm.
