St. Francis
  • Visit the chapel where Jesus asked Francis to “Rebuild my church”
  • Meditate where St. Clare and her sisters lived, served, and prayed
  • Travel to La Verna where Francis received the stigmata
  • Tour the great sights of Florence, Sienna, and Rome

Oct. 14 Depart the USA
15 Arrive in Rome, proceed to Ananda Assisi, sleep, rest
16 Visit the Basilica of St. Francis, including the tomb. Afternoon: St. Claire
17Sunday Service and afternoon tour to L'eremo
18Full tour of Porziunkula, San Damiano in the afternoon
19 Rest at the Ananda center in Assisi, relax
20 Leave for La Verna, overnight
21La Verna
22 Leave early for Florence, full day there, overnight in Florence
23 Full day in Florence, leave late and proceed to Siena, sleep at St Catherine’s convent
24 Full day in Siena, sleep in Siena
25 Relax at the Ananda center in Assisi
26 Visit to caves and Loreto (house of Mary), Osimo
27 Depart, after breakfast, to Rome. See Rome, and spend the night at a nice convent near Spanish steps
28 See Rome, sleep in Rome coliseum, see the Vatican, etc.
29 Close pilgrimage, relax etc, free day for optional visits
30 Depart for the USA
